Construction Worker – Skilled Labor

About the role

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Worker to provide skilled and semi‑skilled labor on a variety of civil, mechanical and underground utility projects. The role involves hands‑on work at construction sites, supporting teams to meet project specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site labor for civil, process mechanical and underground utility work.
• Dig, spread and grade earth to fine‑grade specifications.
• Dismantle plant piping and equipment as required.
• Erect, strip and finish various concrete forms.
• Assist with other site tasks and duties as directed.

Required profile

• No degree required; entry‑level candidates welcome.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, domestically or internationally.
• Ability to adapt to frequently changing assignments throughout the day.
• Commitment to work within standards of accuracy and evaluate information using measurable criteria.
