Construction Assistant

About the role

Join a privately held real estate investment firm as a Construction Assistant, supporting residential rehabs and new home construction projects remotely. You will act as the operational backbone, handling vendor bidding, permits, inspections, and contractor compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Source 2–3 competitive bids per rehab project and draft detailed Scopes of Work for RFPs.
• Manage permit applications, track approvals, coordinate inspections, and secure Certificates of Occupancy.
• Maintain all project documentation in Google Drive and Coda, including licenses, COIs, W‑9s, and invoices.
• Conduct persistent phone outreach to keep field contractors accountable and keep project leads updated on milestones.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of administrative, operations, or project coordination experience.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with stamina for high‑volume phone outreach.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage complex file systems without constant reminders.

• Salary $1,500 – $1,750 USD per month, paid bi‑weekly.
