Commercial Litigation Attorney/Counsel – Los Angeles

About the role

Offit Kurman is looking for a Litigation Associate/Counsel with 4–8 years of experience to support its California‑based practices. The role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work while providing exposure to a broad range of commercial litigation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide litigation support across Commercial Real Estate, Construction, Regulatory, Banking, Intellectual Property and other practice groups.
• Manage cases through pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, court appearances and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, prepare memoranda and assist with case strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys in multiple offices to deliver high‑quality client service.
• Travel within California as needed for hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
• 4–8 years of litigation experience in a law‑firm environment.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to manage litigation matters with increasing independence.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances as required.
