Chief of Staff – High‑Growth AI‑Native Insurtech

About the role

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO and COO of COVU, an AI‑native risk infrastructure platform transforming insurance. The role will bridge customer experience, operations and product, driving scale and excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve and scale customer experience, boosting satisfaction, retention and operational excellence.
• Identify and resolve process inefficiencies across service delivery, onboarding and support.
• Use data, dashboards and analysis to prioritize initiatives, improve workflows and align operational and product roadmaps.
• Partner with the CEO and COO to track, staff and execute strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional communication, planning cycles and meeting cadences.
• Prepare strategic briefings and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience, preferably in high‑growth startups or fast‑paced operating environments.
• Former founder or early‑stage operator who has built systems, teams or products from scratch.
• Background in insurance (P&C, agency operations or insurtech) is a strong plus.
• Strong data orientation with experience in data engineering, analytics or product data.
• Passion for customer experience and process optimisation.
• Excellent communication, project management and systems‑thinking abilities.
