Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics

About the role

The Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics within Jefferson Orthopedics and the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute. This senior position will guide clinical, executive, and academic functions across a regional network of hospitals and residency programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical excellence and practice building for pediatric orthopedics across an integrated network.
• Serve as Division Chief for both the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute and Jefferson Orthopedics, with additional leadership duties at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital.
• Engage with orthopedic residency programs and support the development of a pediatric orthopedic fellowship.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise, academic ambition, and a commitment to patient safety and experience.
• Experienced pediatric orthopedic surgeon preferred; recent fellowship graduates also considered.

• Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery.
