Bilingual Sales Representative II – Staten Island

About the role

MetroPlusHealth is seeking a bilingual (French and Spanish) Sales Representative II to join its team in Staten Island. You will help New Yorkers navigate the NY State of Health Marketplace, enroll in Qualified Health Plans, and access affordability programs such as Medicaid and Child Health Plus.

Key responsibilities

• Educate qualified individuals on applying for coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace.
• Assist consumers with phone calls to the Marketplace Customer Services Department and verify documentation.
• Conduct public education activities, presentations, and workshops to raise awareness of available health plans.
• Explain eligibility for public programs, premium tax credits, cost‑sharing reductions, and metal tier differences.
• Help applicants submit required documents via scan, fax, or mail and support existing members with recertification and premium payments.

Required profile

• Compassionate, collaborative mindset with a strong desire to serve the community.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and Spanish.
• Knowledge of the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, Child Health Plus, and the NY State of Health Marketplace.
• Ability to protect confidential health information and follow privacy regulations.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing trainings, webinars, and compliance updates.
