Bilingual Litigation Paralegal

About the role

Job Duck is seeking an experienced and highly organized Bilingual Litigation Paralegal to support a busy personal injury and litigation practice. You will work closely with attorneys and the legal team to keep active litigation matters moving forward, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate case files.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate case notes, records, and litigation documentation.
• Coordinate scheduling and documentation with opposing counsel and paralegals.
• Review Rules of Civil Procedure to ensure compliance.
• Manage litigation calendars, including depositions, hearings, and critical deadlines.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain litigation files and case documentation.
• Communicate with clients to obtain detailed information and assist with discovery preparation.
• Draft petitions, pleadings, disclosures, discovery requests and responses.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a litigation environment.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes, procedures, and Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and anticipate next steps.
• Professional communication skills with attorneys, opposing counsel, and clients.
• Reliable remote work setup with stable internet and a quiet workspace.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal document formatting.
• Experience with LexisNexis, Lexis, or Westlaw (preferred).
• Familiarity with legal practice management and document management systems (preferred).
