About the role

BASF is seeking an Account Representative II to join its Automotive Refinish team in Georgia. The role is field‑based, with a company car provided, and involves traveling to collision repair shops and distribution partners across the state.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute business strategy and drive sales growth in assigned Georgia markets.
  • Identify customer needs, generate leads, qualify prospects, and close sales, focusing on new‑business acquisition (approximately 70% of effort).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while establishing new partnerships.
  • Forecast market potential and recommend new products and services.
  • Travel up to 60% of the time to meet clients and attend industry events.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED acceptable with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in field sales, territory management, and customer relations.
  • Familiarity with the automotive collision repair industry is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
