Temporary HR Coordinator – Employee Records Digitization

About the role

PATH, a global nonprofit focused on health equity, is seeking a Temporary HR Coordinator in Seattle to lead a short‑term employee records digitization project. The role runs from September through December 2026 and supports the transition of paper personnel files to secure electronic records.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, prepare, and categorize confidential HR documents for scanning.
• Scan employee records and upload them into designated HR systems.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks to ensure legibility, completeness, and correct indexing.
• Shred confidential records in line with company retention and destruction policies.
• Label, archive, and organize both physical and electronic personnel files.
• Retrieve employee records for authorized HR staff upon request.
• Track document‑processing progress and maintain inventory logs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Previous administrative, office support, or HR experience preferred.
• Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to lift file boxes up to 25 lb when needed.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.

• Familiarity with document‑scanning equipment.
