About the role

Amazon is seeking Software Development Engineers to build and ship Amazon Linux repositories and AMIs, supporting millions of AWS instances worldwide.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software that ships Amazon Linux repositories and AMIs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize requirements and deliver solutions.
Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues quickly.
Continuously improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD.

Required profile

3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience with scalable systems.
Experience with at least one programming language.

Required skills

Linux operating system expertise.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge.
