Retail Merchandising Supervisor

About the role

As a Retail Merchandising Supervisor at Staples, you will lead store merchandising, inventory control, and customer service initiatives while fostering an inclusive, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process accurate inventory controls such as Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, and Cross‑Channel Returns.
• Execute product activities including truck unloading, sorting, stocking, and maintaining stock levels.
• Implement weekly planograms and seasonal promotional merchandising changeovers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, inviting store environment.
• Perform front‑end duties like cashiering, returns, and online reservations; act as Manager on Duty when scheduled.

Required profile

• Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends.
• Clear understanding of merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience leading, coaching, or supervising a team.
• Ability to engage customers, multitask, and lift up to 100 lb.

Required skills

• Key holder experience in a retail environment (preferred).
