Regional Distribution Leader – Account Management

About the role

As a Regional Distribution Leader for 3M's Electrical Markets Division, you will grow the business through key distribution partners across Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware and Virginia. You will act as the primary liaison, delivering the 3M value proposition and driving customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sales, conversion and growth opportunities with distributors and execute business plans through QBRs, inventory management, contracts and RFQs.
• Lead marketing, promotional, training, merchandising and sales initiatives to increase demand.
• Conduct regular distributor visits to support product adoption and operational excellence.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to achieve revenue and customer‑success targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (completed before start) and at least two years of direct sales experience.
• Experience selling within the greater Baltimore market and managing distribution or channel accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple product lines, customer segments and distribution channels.
