About the role
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking summer interns to join its Vision research and development team in Jacksonville, FL. Interns will work on eye‑health products, from early research through pilot and commercialization stages, collaborating with scientists and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Execute a project assignment involving an eye‑health product, enabling technology, or internal R&D operations.
- Perform tasks such as fundamental research, process/product development, clinical study execution, regulatory submissions, test method development, and equipment development.
- Collaborate with technical disciplines to develop and apply equipment and processes.
- Advocate for continuous improvement of internal processes and technologies.
Required profile
- Current student in a four‑year degree program (Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Health Science, or equivalent).
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Enrolled for the full co‑op period and available full‑time (40 hours/week) during the summer.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
