Principal Manager, Communications & Developer Influence

About the role

Redis is looking for a senior communications leader to shape how the company is perceived by customers, media, and the technology industry. As part of the Brand team, you will develop and execute PR, influencer, developer marketing, and social media strategies that strengthen the brand and elevate executives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a corporate communications strategy to boost awareness, support product launches and drive growth.
• Build proactive media relations with technology, AI, cloud and developer press, and manage inbound opportunities.
• Partner with executives to create thought‑leadership content, speaking opportunities and visibility programs.
• Lead communications around major milestones, partnerships, customer stories and industry trends.
• Collaborate with Developer Marketing to align technical storytelling and press amplification.
• Design and manage integrated campaigns across earned media, executive social, influencers and owned channels.
• Own influencer and social media programs targeting engineers, OSS maintainers and technical creators.
• Manage PR agency relationships, set measurable goals and evaluate performance.

Required profile

• 8+ years in corporate communications, PR or integrated communications within B2B technology.
• Experience developing strategies for high‑growth SaaS, cloud infrastructure, AI or developer tools.
• Proven track record securing earned media coverage and building relationships with top journalists.
• Strong storytelling ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives.
• Demonstrated skill influencing senior leaders and navigating cross‑functional teams.
