About the role

Duly Health and Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join its vibrant outpatient team in Joliet, Illinois. You will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver personalized rehabilitation programs, ensuring patients achieve optimal functional outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans created by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and rehabilitation programs.
• Monitor patient response, document progress, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercise regimens, injury prevention, and home‑exercise plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to support coordinated patient care.
• Promote patient engagement and adherence to rehabilitation plans.
• Maintain equipment and treatment areas according to department standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Illinois PTA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Required skills

• Therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Rehabilitation principles and orthopedic care.
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
