About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified PCU/Step‑down Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of its top healthcare clients. This position provides acute care in a progressive care unit, monitoring patients who need close observation but are not ICU‑level.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in a PCU/Step‑down setting, using cardiac and vital sign equipment to detect changes.
- Administer and titrate complex medications based on patient vital signs.
- Provide rapid intervention for life‑threatening or emergency situations.
Required profile
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 18 months recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step‑down environment.
Required skills
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
