About the role
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides patient‑centered care in a high‑volume surgical environment, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Delegate tasks according to the Texas Nursing Practice Act and monitor staff performance.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice changes.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of OR experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient safety protocols.
