Director, Developer Marketing

About the role

Redis is building the core infrastructure for AI agents and real‑time data. As Director of Developer Marketing you will lead a standalone function that earns developer love, builds credibility, and creates a lasting content corpus for Redis in the AI era.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate for Redis in developer events, hackathons, speaking engagements, and workshops.
• Create and maintain how‑to guides, demo apps, and reference implementations that developers (and their agents) can copy, paste, and ship.
• Engage with developer communities on Reddit, Stack Overflow, Discord, and Slack, answering questions and surfacing feedback to product teams.
• Drive metrics such as developer sign‑ups, sentiment, third‑party validation, and agent recommendation.

Required profile

• Proven experience building or scaling a developer relations, developer marketing, or community function, preferably at a developer‑tools or infrastructure company.
• Technical credibility with engineers building production AI agents and a network in the AI‑builder ecosystem.
• Track record of producing developer‑focused content that is actively used.

Required skills

• Understanding of developer workflows and AI‑agent requirements.
• Ability to measure and grow leading indicators such as sign‑ups, sentiment, and third‑party validation.
