About the role
We are seeking experienced Design Engineers to perform engineering functions for custom design products, supporting our inclusive employment ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Perform gear tooth geometry, shaft deflection, bearing life analysis, lubrication system, housing design, and gear drive layout.
- Review and approve designer detailer drawings for shop release and enter requisition text for major raw material items into the BaaN system.
- Serve as point of contact for post‑order technical communications with customers and sales personnel.
- Disposition Nonconforming Material Reports, issue Engineering Change Notices, support shop/assembly, and create detail drawings as needed.
Required profile
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum ten years of machine design experience, preferably in the gear industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Required skills
- SolidWorks (3‑D modeling).
- BaaN ERP system.
- Microsoft Office applications.
