Transportation Agent – Logistics (Entry Level)

About the role

As a Transportation Agent at Expeditors you will manage a portfolio of customers, coordinating truck shipments across Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Dakotas. You will ensure accurate booking, documentation and on‑time delivery while acting as the primary liaison between shippers, carriers and receivers.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain shipment data accurately in Expeditors’ operational system.
• Track and trace truck shipments, providing status updates and reporting.
• Coordinate truck deliveries across the Upper Midwest, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Prepare and verify client billing information.
• Interpret operating procedures to meet customer instructions and expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Adhere to US compliance standards and company KPI targets.
• Communicate delays and resolve issues autonomously.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability 09:00‑18:00, Monday‑Friday.
• 2 years of logistics experience or equivalent training.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
