Temporary Maintenance Technician – La Vista

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to support the La Vista community. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience (preferred).
• Experience with make‑ready procedures in residential settings (preferred).
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and maintain detailed records.
