Tax Consultant II – SAP Tax Technology (Global Trade)

About the role

As a Tax Consultant II specializing in SAP Tax Technology, you will join Deloitte's Global Trade practice to help multinational clients navigate complex import and export regulations. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design compliant and efficient global supply chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist importers and exporters in achieving worldwide compliance and improving supply chain efficiency.
• Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import/export strategies and regulatory requirements.
• Assess, design, and deploy technology solutions, including SAP, to automate international trade management.
• Provide planning and compliance support, including customs valuation, first‑sale export planning, and transfer‑pricing analysis.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives and support trade‑compliance audits.
• Represent clients before trade authorities worldwide.

Required profile

• Hybrid work model with 2‑3 days onsite per week.
• At least 1 year of experience in import, export, or technology enablement (operational, government, law firm, or consulting).
• Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business, or technology‑related field.
• Experience with U.S. import regulations and knowledge of export regulations such as ITAR/EAR.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
