Summer Audit Intern – Federal Reserve Bank of New York

About the role

The Summer Audit Intern joins the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Audit Group for a ten‑week, full‑time, on‑site experience. You will work on real internal‑audit projects, gain exposure to risk‑based assurance, and develop a professional network within the Bank.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in audit planning and controls testing.
• Attend audit meetings, take minutes, and help prepare audit reports.
• Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to analyze and present audit information.
• Support special projects through research and information organization.
• Participate in department events and team‑building activities.

Required profile

• Completed at least sophomore year of college by the start of the program.
• Strong interest in internal audit, finance, or related fields.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
