Senior Product Manager - Agentic Payments

About the role

Rain is building a global stablecoin payments platform and seeks a Senior Product Manager to own the Agent Control Layer, the developer‑facing surface that enables AI agents to spend safely. You will define the primitives for agent authority and shape a new category of agentic commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Define spend scopes, allowlists, velocity caps, task‑bound credentials and revocation mechanisms for agents.
• Own scoped virtual cards provisioned for single merchants, amounts and tasks, retiring them upon completion.
• Extend Rain’s wallet, virtual account, on‑ramp/off‑ramp and cross‑border payment stack to agent initiators.
• Treat the API as the product: design endpoints, error semantics, idempotency, webhooks, sandbox tools, SDKs and reference agents.
• Lead documentation, onboarding flow and measure time‑to‑first‑authorized‑agent‑transaction.

Required profile

• 8+ years product management experience, with shipped developer‑facing platforms or APIs.
• Technical depth to read API diffs, write queries and hold own in architecture reviews.
• Proven 0‑to‑1 product instincts in ambiguous markets.
• Fintech or payments fluency (authorization flows, issuing, KYC/KYB) or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong judgment on risk trade‑offs and excellent writing skills.
