Senior Product Manager - Compliance

About the role

Rain is a global stablecoin payments platform seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the compliance product surface. You will lead the end‑to‑end compliance experience across KYC/KYB, sanctions, licensing, card network obligations and partner tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Own the KYC and KYB onboarding experience, optimizing conversion, accuracy and cost per verified user.
• Build and tune sanctions screening, PEP/adverse media checks, transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics.
• Ship case‑management, escalation and SAR/STR workflows for compliance analysts.
• Translate regulatory obligations (EMI, MiCA, VASP, Travel Rule, etc.) into engineering requirements.
• Partner with Legal, Risk and Engineering to make new‑market launches repeatable and manage regulatory change as a product process.
• Ensure conformance with Visa and Mastercard rules and develop evidence tooling for issuing banks.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years owning compliance, risk, identity or payments products in a regulated environment.
• Deep fluency in AML/CFT, KYC/KYB standards, sanctions screening logic and SAR workflows.
• Direct experience with card issuing, payments infrastructure or banking‑as‑a‑service.
• Proven track record of shipping systems where correctness outweighs speed.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to write precise, actionable specifications.
