Senior Staff Technical Program Manager – Hivemind Enterprise

About the role

Shield AI is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software releases for the Hivemind Enterprise platform, a SDK that enables Shield AI and third parties to create next‑generation unmanned systems and mission applications.

Key responsibilities

• Drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex software releases for Hivemind Enterprise.
• Build rigorous simulation‑based test automation for autonomy software.
• Manage large‑scale test operations from CI through HIL and flight test.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer teams to define test scope and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate regular stakeholder communication and provide status updates.
• Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required profile

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years in program management, engineering management, or software test engineering.
• Proven experience driving testing of complex software and integrated HW/SW systems.
• Track record of managing release management and software test operations.
• Strong technical foundation in test engineering and software development lifecycle optimization.
• Exceptional problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Power‑user of Jira or similar work‑management tools.

Preferred qualifications

• Advanced degree (M.S. or MBA).
• Background as a software developer or test engineer.
• Experience releasing enterprise software used by software engineers.
• Passion for software documentation.
• Expertise in autonomy, AI, and machine learning.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications.
