Senior Sales Representative – Turf & Ornamentals (IL, MN, WI)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Representative for the Turf and Ornamentals market covering Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The role is part of BASF’s Agricultural Solutions division and focuses on driving sales, building customer relationships and expanding the product portfolio across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote BASF’s innovative turf and ornamental products and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Manage a sales territory (IL, MN, WI) to achieve annual sales targets within budget.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key end‑users, distributors and industry partners.
• Execute field tactical activities, marketing programs and special projects to grow market share.
• Provide product and biology training to customers and the distribution network.
• Conduct regular strategic reviews and communicate top opportunities to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the turf, ornamental or agricultural sector.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time within the territory.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
