Senior Communications Manager, Global Health

About the role

The Senior Communications Manager, Global Health will report to the Chief Communications Officer and lead MSF USA’s communications on global health issues, access to medical tools and medicines. The role works closely with the Programs department, the international MSF Access team and other stakeholders to shape public advocacy strategies for U.S. audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies on global health, access to medicines and health‑care products.
• Provide editorial guidance and creative direction for key initiatives and public advocacy campaigns.
• Produce and distribute external communications across multiple channels, including website, social media and live events.
• Identify significant medical humanitarian issues and create integrated communication plans to raise public awareness and support advocacy priorities.
• Contribute to brand strategy, positioning and tactics to increase MSF USA’s visibility.
• Promote diversity, equity and inclusion principles in all communications products and channels.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading communications for health‑related or humanitarian initiatives.
• Strong ability to coordinate with program teams, international partners and external stakeholders.
• Excellent editorial and storytelling skills tailored to U.S. audiences.
• Experience shaping public advocacy strategies and engaging diverse audiences.
