Communications & Content Manager – Remote (US)

About the role

The Constructive Dialogue Institute seeks a versatile Communications & Content Manager to turn research and thought leadership into high‑quality, on‑message content. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Communications, you will drive newsletters, blogs, social posts, and marketing collateral while supporting media outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the editorial calendar and produce the higher‑education newsletter, blog, and organic social content on a reliable cadence.
• Transform research papers into blog posts, op‑eds, social snippets, and newsletter features.
• Coordinate with Partnerships, Marketing, and Demand Generation to align content with webinars, conferences, and pipeline goals.
• Support earned media by maintaining press lists, drafting pitches, and tracking coverage.
• Oversee production of marketing collateral, case studies, and brand‑consistent templates.

Required profile

• 5+ years in communications, content marketing, editorial, or journalism, preferably in a mission‑driven or higher‑education context.
• Exceptional writer and editor who can produce clear, accurate, on‑message content quickly.
• Strong cross‑functional collaborator comfortable working with subject‑matter experts, marketing, and partnership teams.
• Media‑aware with experience drafting pitches and building press relationships.
• Politically astute, mission‑aligned, and able to communicate constructively across ideological lines.

• Compensation: $85,000‑$95,000 USD per year.
