Router Operator – 2nd Shift

About the role

Jackson Furniture is seeking a focused Router Operator for the 2nd shift (4:30 pm – 3 am, Mon‑Fri). You will operate CNC machines to produce precise wooden components used in furniture frames, ensuring high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run CNC routers to cut OSB and plywood according to production schedules.
• Perform test runs, verify program entry, and adjust settings to meet specifications.
• Inspect, measure, and sort finished parts, preparing them for the next production phase.
• Maintain machinery daily, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous operation.
• Lift, move, and load materials weighing up to 70 lb throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Strong measuring and math abilities.
• Ability to work night hours and overtime as needed.
• Prior CNC experience highly preferred.
• Commitment to safety and punctual attendance.
• Capability to follow supervisor directions in a fast‑paced environment.
