Manufacturing Engineer – Lean & Process Improvement

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical support across all stages of the manufacturing process, applying Lean tools to meet business objectives. You will work closely with production teams to ensure continuous flow, cost reduction, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in Lean, quality, productivity, ergonomics, and safety.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to maintain continuous flow and reduce costs.
• Support the production team in meeting manufacturing commitments.
• Ensure compliance with Manufacturing‑Quality procedures and EHS regulations.
• Identify, lead, and drive cost‑reduction projects using Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Improve process capabilities and capacity in manufacturing areas.
• Lead and support equipment maintenance activities.
• Participate in plant initiative programs, engage employees, and implement changes.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and quantitative abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of process improvement and team‑building techniques.
• Solid computer skills and customer‑service orientation.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge; Green Belt training is desirable.
