Quality Technician (Entry Level)

About the role

Join our production team as a Quality Technician. You will help protect customers by verifying product quality, supporting production crews, and documenting any non‑conforming material before it moves forward.

Key responsibilities

• Perform product inspections, audits and quality checks using work instructions, drawings and customer specifications.
• Support production during startup, changeovers, in‑process checks and final verification.
• Identify, tag, segregate and document non‑conforming material to prevent unintended use or shipment.
• Enter and maintain accurate quality records, including inspection results, scrap, rework and corrective‑action data.
• Collect and document quality samples, SPC data and inspection results.
• Assist root‑cause investigations by gathering facts, photos and part information.
• Verify labels, packaging, counts and customer‑specific requirements before material moves forward.
• Check measuring and testing equipment for proper identification, calibration and suitability.
• Escalate equipment concerns and communicate quality issues clearly with production, warehouse, purchasing and other teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to speak up when something looks incorrect.
• Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions and inspection plans.
• Basic math skills for measurements, tolerances, counts and percentages.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
