About the role

tarte is looking for enthusiastic part‑time Retail Sales Associates to join its boutique teams in select U.S. markets. You will represent a cruelty‑free, high‑performance cosmetics brand and help customers discover products that combine beauty with clean ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on the sales floor, providing product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
• Maintain visual standards by executing planograms and merchandising displays.
• Achieve daily and hourly sales targets (e.g., $200 per hour SPH).
• Process transactions using the store POS system and handle returns.
• Assist with inventory replenishment and stock organization.
• Utilize smartphone and social‑media apps to promote products and drive foot traffic.

Required profile

• Passion for tarte’s cruelty‑free cosmetics and clean‑beauty philosophy.
• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in Sephora or Ulta environments.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Availability during peak retail hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Competitive spirit with a focus on meeting sales goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with smartphone applications and social‑media platforms.
• Experience implementing planograms and visual merchandising.
