Remote Clinical Pharmacist – May 2026 Start

About the role

Walrus Health is expanding its Pharmacist team and seeks a technically and clinically skilled pharmacist who loves helping people solve healthcare problems. This remote position offers the chance to work with a fast‑growing health‑technology firm that empowers members to actively manage their medications through digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Review claims data and automated clinical opportunities to make evidence‑based recommendations.
• Assist members in downloading and using the Walrus app and conduct digital clinical engagements.
• Refer members to employer‑sponsored programs when appropriate.
• Make therapy recommendations to providers and collaborate with internal teams on aligned projects.
• Contribute to the development of internal clinical and member‑facing products.
• Participate in client and prospect calls as needed and provide clinical coverage outside normal hours.

Required profile

• PharmD or equivalent advanced degree and active pharmacist license in a US state.
• Residency training (PGY‑1 or PGY‑2) with at least 2 years of experience interacting with patients and clinicians.
• Strong data‑analysis ability, good judgment, and excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in database and reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical therapy, drug administration, and disease‑state management.
• Willingness to travel as needed and to maintain an ongoing digital relationship with members.
