Supply Chain Specialist Lead – Material Management Logistics

About the role

This position leads material management and logistics activities within a healthcare environment. The specialist will guide associates, provide ERP training, and ensure accurate processing of inventory transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Materials Management Technician tasks and make informed decisions.
• Master and operate INFOR ERP modules such as Par Specialist, Purchasing Receiver, Inventory Management, Warehouse Clerk, and Mobile Supply Chain Management.
• Assist value‑analysis teams with new item/technology requests, vetting, and approval processes.
• Generate and review system reports to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
• Support consignment agreements, tracking, and documentation.
• Ensure accurate item setup across local systems and maintain master data.
• Provide sourcing expertise and act as a resource during emergent situations.
• Educate staff on supply‑chain processes and troubleshoot requisition, order, invoice, and process issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication.
• Collaborate with procurement, accounts payable, and clinical teams to improve daily operations.
• Assist with CLP rollouts and support clinical staff with product knowledge.
• Deliver high‑level customer service and maintain proficiency with automated systems.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree preferred.
• 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• 2–3 years of demonstrated computer experience.
• 1 year of supply‑chain experience preferred.
• Medical product and equipment knowledge preferred.
• Inventory database management experience preferred.

Required skills

• Infor ERP modules (Par Specialist, Purchasing Receiver, Inventory Management, Warehouse Clerk, Mobile Supply Chain Management).
• Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook.
• General ERP system proficiency.
