Regulatory & Audit Programs Associate – CIB COO

About the role

The Regulatory and Audit Programs Associate supports the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Chief Operating Officer organization in meeting supervisory expectations. This role coordinates regulatory examinations, supervisory reviews, and internal audits, ensuring the business is well‑prepared and responds effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage CIB COO execution for regulatory exams, supervisory reviews, and internal audits, handling responses, data requests, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with CIB subject‑matter experts to synthesize complex inputs into clear, well‑structured materials that reflect COO processes, controls, and risk‑management practices.
• Liaise with business partners to develop accurate, timely responses to regulatory and audit findings and requests.
• Perform thematic analysis of regulatory feedback and audit results to identify patterns, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Track remediation actions and commitments, providing visibility to senior management on progress and risks.
• Prepare concise, executive‑ready updates and materials for COO leadership.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Regulatory Relations, Internal Audit, Second Line, and business partners.
• Support continuous improvement of CIB COO governance, risk management, and reporting practices.
