CIB Associate, Client Lifecycle Management

About the role

The CIB Associate, Client Lifecycle Management will independently onboard corporate clients, open and close accounts, and manage transitions to Santander's systems. This role ensures regulatory compliance and acts as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation process.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard clients, obtain and review documentation, and complete AML/KYC requirements before account opening.
• Lead clients through solution implementation from setup to hand‑off to the service team.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Operations, IT and partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve complex onboarding, transition and conversion issues.
• Develop and improve onboarding methodologies, protocols and processes.
• Escalate product or client issues for prompt resolution and deliver client‑specific training.
• Prepare reports, metrics and ensure continuous improvement of team procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in client onboarding and regulatory compliance (AML/KYC).
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, product, operations and technology teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality client experiences.
