Quality Control Analyst

About the role

Stellaromics is seeking a hands‑on Quality Control Analyst to ensure the highest product quality in a fast‑paced biotech startup. You will work closely with Manufacturing and R&D teams, performing analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished reagents while maintaining GMP and ISO 13485 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine biochemical and analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished reagents.
• Maintain control samples, reference standards, and monitor laboratory environmental conditions.
• Calibrate, qualify, and maintain QC instruments and equipment.
• Conduct production area walkthroughs and line clearances.
• Document test results, author QC protocols, and support batch release documentation.
• Participate in investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement of quality systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field.
• 2+ years experience in quality control or analytical testing within life‑sciences or diagnostics.
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Optical microscopy or confocal microscopy.
• Tissue‑based assay and RNase‑free workflows.
• Buffer preparation, enzyme handling, antibody‑based reagents.
• LIMS, ERP, digital manufacturing tools, electronic notebooks.
