Director / Sr. Director / Executive Director, Clinical Operations

About the role

Frontier Medicines is looking for an experienced leader to drive the operational strategy and execution of a global oncology program. As the operational head, you will translate clinical and business strategy into high‑quality, on‑time study delivery across multiple regions and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the clinical operational strategy, ensuring studies are executed with quality, efficiency, on‑time and within budget.
• Translate program strategy into a detailed clinical operations plan and align science, business, and patient needs.
• Identify program‑level risks, create mitigation plans, and oversee risk management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders and global CROs, influencing decisions and representing Clinical Operations in meetings.
• Review and contribute clinical operations content to clinical and regulatory documents.
• Manage external vendor relationships and overall program budget.
• Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP, global regulations, and company policies throughout study execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific field.
• 10+ years of biotech/pharma clinical research experience, with strong oncology background.
• Proven experience managing global, complex clinical studies (Phases 1‑3) and multiple vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to work on global teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
