About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse to work in the Main Operating Room. This position supports perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and smooth surgical flow during varied shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and assist the surgical team with equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Arkansas.
• Experience in perioperative or operating‑room nursing preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
