Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the TOSH Orthopedic Clinic in Little Rock. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care within a multidisciplinary orthopedic team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients, including assessments, medication administration, and wound management.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical observations, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care, rehabilitation exercises, and medication adherence.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Arkansas with legal authority to work in the United States.
• Experience in acute or orthopedic nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous learning.
