Part-Time Forklift Operator – $23.01/hr

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking part‑time forklift operators for its Pembroke Pines, FL service center. The position involves safely moving freight in and out of trailers on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Move various types of freight safely in and out of the dock area.
• Read and follow manifests and interact with computer displays to verify shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume, LTL setting.
• Capability to read manifests and use computer displays for shipment tracking.
