About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Part‑Time Forklift Operator to join its Pembroke Pines service center. You will safely move freight in and out of trailers on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Handle various types of freight, ensuring proper placement and safety.
- Read and follow manifests and computer‑based instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
- Some experience with LTL (Less‑Than‑Truckload) freight is a plus.
