Outdoor Pursuits Attendant & Coach (Winter)

About the role

Join the Outdoor Pursuits team at Homewood Mountain Resort for the winter season, delivering memorable mountain, land, and lake experiences to members and guests. As an Attendant or Coach you will support daily activations, ensure safety, and lead group activities across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily activations by greeting guests, checking them in, and directing them to guides or coaches.
• Assist with equipment staging, inspection, distribution, and breakdown for each activity.
• Coach tier: lead resort tours, structured sessions, clinics, and group programs, including kids’ adventure activities.
• Maintain equipment inventory, flag maintenance needs, and keep the Outdoor Pursuits base clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols, conduct weather and condition assessments, and respond to incidents according to Homewood guidelines.

Required profile

• Entry‑level outdoor recreation or hospitality experience for Attendant tier; 1+ year coaching or instructional experience for Coach tier.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain before start).
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and long hours during peak periods.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lb and working outdoors in winter conditions.

Required skills

• Skiing and snowboarding proficiency.
• Equipment preparation and inspection.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Activity‑specific coaching certifications (e.g., PSIA‑AASI, USSA/USASA).
• Valid driver’s license.
