About the role
The Operator is responsible for running and adjusting the re‑processing line and material processing equipment to achieve maximum production efficiency and product quality. The role works closely with the team leader to meet production and quality targets while adhering to safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate extrusion lines (95 MEFF and 105 EFF) and ensure production and quality goals are met.
- Follow safe work practices, report hazards, and assist with line repairs.
- Perform extruder start‑up and shut‑down procedures and monitor readings throughout the shift.
- Identify scrap types, contaminants, and their impact on the finished product.
- Move materials to lines, stage finished product for weighing, and conduct product changeovers.
- Maintain 5‑S housekeeping standards and recommend repairs or improvements.
- Assist in training other machine operators and ensure all quality checks are completed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Experience in a teamwork‑oriented manufacturing environment.
- Fork‑lift licence.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
- Basic mathematical abilities.
Required skills
- Operation of extrusion equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of production machinery.

- Basic math for measurements and calculations.
