PLC Systems Technician (3rd Shift)

About the role

The PLC Systems Technician on the 3rd shift will own the reliability of control systems, PLC logic, and related equipment across the plant. You will support new equipment installations and the full life‑cycle of existing assets, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide asset leadership for assigned equipment, evaluating repair versus replacement options.
• Analyze production performance reports to improve maintenance techniques and procedures.
• Assist maintenance personnel in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving equipment failures.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance program development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and pneumatic systems, update wiring and pneumatic schematics.
• Use maintenance management software to log problems, request parts, track labor hours, and capture repair history.
• Participate in engineering projects involving automation, vision, procurement, and equipment modification.

Required profile

• Experience with PLC systems, control logic, and electrical components.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and update wiring and pneumatic schematics.
