Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator works on a fast‑paced manufacturing line producing high‑quality plastic film and bag products. The role requires strict adherence to safety, GMP and ISO standards while ensuring efficient equipment operation and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, run, adjust and change over manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and BOM (Traveler).
• Monitor and record quality data, report weight variances and any non‑conforming product to the Section Leader.
• Maintain a safe work environment, conduct daily inspections and follow all safety policies.
• Perform routine equipment repairs, preventive maintenance (PM) and write work requests for complex issues.
• Handle packaging materials, move and stage resins, fillers and concentrates, and operate printers and tape systems.
• Weigh scrap, inspect pallets for weight and stacking accuracy, and manage recycling of trash containers.
• Assist in training new employees and support multiple production lines as needed.

Required profile

• Must hold valid electric pallet‑jack certification and forklift certification.
• Ability to read and follow Bill of Materials, special instructions and safety checklists.
• Capable of performing equipment start‑up, shut‑down, changeovers and minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail for quality control and housekeeping standards.
