Midlevel Healthcare Transactional & Regulatory Associate

About the role

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a mid‑level associate to join its nationally recognized Healthcare Practice Group in either Los Angeles (preferred) or Seattle. The role offers hands‑on responsibility, mentorship from experienced healthcare attorneys, and exposure to sophisticated transactional, operational, and regulatory matters for health‑care providers and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a variety of healthcare contracts.
• Provide operational and regulatory counseling to health‑care providers and health systems.
• Advise on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues.
• Conduct compliance and regulatory analysis, including fraud and abuse support.
• Collaborate on cross‑disciplinary matters involving digital health, compliance, and transactions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of healthcare transactional and regulatory experience, preferably in a law‑firm setting.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and client‑counseling abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in the operational side of health‑care practice.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively across teams.
• Strong academic credentials and sound professional judgment.

• Annualized salary range of $225,000 – $315,000, adjusted for experience and qualifications.
