Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician to join CYM Living’s property maintenance team. The role involves keeping residential properties safe, functional, and comfortable through routine repairs, inspections, and preventative upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry tasks.
• Conduct regular building and equipment inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and resolve problems efficiently.
• Assist in developing and executing preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan.
• Maintain accurate work order, repair, and inspection records and report significant findings to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and property management to address tenant concerns and improve resident satisfaction.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition and report any deficiencies.
• Follow all safety regulations and participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency repairs.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician or in a related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general maintenance practices.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
