About the role
The Service Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes and vendor coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
- Develop and maintain standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common areas.
- Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope, and specifications.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary guidelines.
- Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Assist the Community Manager with various operational tasks as needed.
